FairyTale
Life is but a fairytale, something small and weak
I try to stay above the ground, but things just seem so bleak.
Why is it that my life is hell, it's nothing like a book?
Perhaps I should open my eyes, and take another look
All in all, things are great, I guess I could be dead
How ironic if that happened, ending like a book I read.
My life just doesn't seem so fun, nothing like a fairytale
I guess it's just meant to be, that my life would be like hell.
A life is born, A life is lost, when will it be my turn?
To leave this realm, with nothing to gain, and finally I get to burn
Things were great, for awhile, when life was a fairytale.
But look at me now, nothing to give, welcome to my own hell.
This place of darkness, I created, I made it what it is
Snakes around me, shattered glass, I can hear them hiss.
Things were great, for awhile, when it was just a fairytale.
But here I am, in this fire, I hope I don't begin to smell
Life is but a fairytale, something small and weak
I tried to stay above ground, but things just seemed so bleak.
Why is it that my life was hell, it's nothing like a book?
Perhaps I shouldn't have closed my eyes, but had another look
