    You

     i shut my eyes and i think of you
    all the times we spent together
    all the things we went through together
    but now the times they fade
    and the tears start to stream down my face
    because i know i dont have you to hold
    i know i have no one to help me through this day
    you have gone so very far away from me
    each memory i have of you seems to stay
    the only thought i have is of you and i together i know nothing else
    no one can seem to replace you, and i have finally given up
    this is the end, i know its over now
    i know we can no longer be together
    but your memory never seems to fade away

    Untouched soul, This one is a heartache I think we all have felt at some point. It made me sad by your loss and where no one nor nothing can replace it only he that is not there. Only time heals all wounds and who in the heck wants to hear that. Right? I love it. I think it is so true and the memory really does not go away but my dear it does fade. Caryn on the Rhine. I just love your poems. Every one I read. I have not gotten to all and can not wait to read the next.

    AS YOU SHUT YOUR EYES YOU PRAY TO NOT AGAIN AWAKEN, FOR IN DEATH YOU WOULD FIND AN END OF PAIN, BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. I AM EITHER BLIND OR I SEE, BUT I SEE A VERY LONELY, HURT, SCARRED, BROKEN, BODY AND MIND, YET AS I SEARCH DEEPER THERE IS MORE... PURITY OF THE SOUL, YOUR SOUL THROUGH IT ALL IS STILL VIBRANT AND POURING WITH LOVE AND LIFE. OUR BODIES AND MINDS ARE OF THE FLESH AND THEREBY CONSTRAINED TO THE DUST OF DEATH, BUT OUR SOULS TRANSCEND SUCH DEATH AND FOREVER LIVE IN PURITY OF LIGHT... THERE IS MUCH MORE TO YOU THAN YOU LET ON, THERE IS MUCH TO BEFOUND, EVEN BY YOURSELF... PERHAPS YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW IT YET, IM TIME... BELIEVE IT OR NOT IT WAS THROUGH PAIN AND TORMENT SUCH YOU ARE GOING THROUGH THAT I TRUELY FOUND MYSELF, LONELY NIGHTS CREATE GREAT POETRY! PERHAPS NO ONE WILL EVER REPLACE HIM, EACH LOVE IS UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT. PERHAPS YOU WILL ONE DAY FIND SOMETHING GREATER, PONDER THIS. IF THIS WAS LOVE AT IT'S BEST WHY ARE YOU IN SOO MUCH PAIN? TRUE LOVE IF THERE IS SUCH A THING, WOULD NEVER HURT YOU LIKE THAT, SOO THERE MUST BE MORE, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING BETTER IN THE FUTURE. TRUST ME, I HAVE BEEN THERE, DONE THAT, BEEN LOWER THAN I WOULD LIKE TO ADMIT. I KNWO THE DEVIL LIKE A BEST FRIEND, I SWAM IN THE POOLS OF HELL LIKE A BATHTUB... TRUST ME THERE IS MORE...
