Wetland Haiku
Water reflects sunas it streams through Swamp Maple
Pond Lilies thrive here
Spring peepers sing out
tree frogs croak intermittently
Dragonflies buzz by
Lush green surrounding
ferns of all sizes waving
as breezes blow on through
Jack-in-the-pulpit
only one, still immature
A rare find indeed
Tracks found in the mud
prove that many living things
Live and visit here
Many wildflowers
grow prolific on the trail
To and from this place
