So Long Apartment-Hello Home
Space and plenty of it
Wide open and wondrous
No piece of furniture touching another
No piles and piles of stuff
Quiet and only quiet
Unless purposely directed
No ugly din behind a wall
Or beneath the floor
Solitude, but not lonliness
Meditating is easier when life is slow
Feelings of panic wane
as I look out over the pond
Peace, long sought is here
Among the mixed evergreens
And the forest folk
That frequent boughs and leaf litter
Contentment and optimism
Are like old friends
Peace of mind is possible
This feels like HOME
