Mixed Flock
They gather togetherto feast on the banquet
morsels in feeders
scattered seeds on the ground
They seem to enjoy
each others existance
they get along well
and share what they've found
Sparrows and juncos
forage intently while
mourning doves cooing
on the edges abide
chickadees join in
but never stay long
they flit to and fro
they dip, dive, and glide
