    Poem Commentary

this is just somthing that came to me after reading a book

    Vampire

Your skin is perfect and hard
    Smooth and icy like marble.

    Your eyes like melted silver
    swirled with a wild heat.

Your breath, though sweet, was cool
with a hint of death in your smile.

I will leave behind my human life,
and live forever by your side.

I am prepared for the pain,
and the power of the thirst.

I give my neck to your kiss
    and wait for the end,
    or the beginning
