Unrequited Love
Unrequited Love
Love is a beautiful thing,
But sometimes, it hurts like hell.
You even feel like screaming
When things do not go too well.
Love can be like a freaking curse.
Things can get bad, and even worse.
Sometimes, you feel like it doesn't matter.
Cause it seems like things will never get better.
Love is like the black hole itself.
Whatever the heck you do,
Wherever the heck you go to,
There's no way you can escape it.
Love is like a freaking mystery.
It's not always simple as it might seem in a movie.
And you just keep on wondering what you did wrong.
Wondering why your feelings are so strong.
And sometimes, love sucks too.
Especially when it's unrequited.
And you don't even know what to do
Because it's not what you've expected.
And that's when you're starting to act stupid.
You're starting to make stupid decision.
And all the stupid things you did,
You only did them to get out of this painful situation.
It seem like all that you do is in vain.
You ask for sunshine, but you get rain.
Deep inside your heart, is where you hide the pain.
And you pretend like every thing is fine.
You are fighting a battle you know you'll never win.
You keep on asking yourself, "Why even bother trying?"
You're looking for something you know you'll never find.
It's like you are chasing the wind.
But at the end, you always figure it out;
Whatever you do, there's no way out.
You just have to deal with it.
For love is a place with no exit.
Pain is all that you get,
And still, you don’t want to let go.
The one you love is someone you’ll never forget.
Now that’s kind of hard to swallow.
You are in love and you will always be.
Even though your love has not return.
But in spite of all the pain, you try to be happy.
You pretend like it’s none of your concern.
And you just sit there hoping for some kind of miracle.
Even though you know that it's impossible.
Until then, this sorrow will remain.
Your hope of joy must be your source of pain.
