My Unfortunate, and Undying Plant
My Unfortunate, and Undying Plant
One day like every other day,
She just popped out of the ground.
That was the first time I’ve ever had a plant.
There was a special bond between us.
I could even experience what she felt.
I felt so happy and kind of mellow.
She hasn’t found any water or sunlight.
Her leaves started to turn yellow.
I kept hoping that rain will fall on her.
Hoping that the sun will shine upon her.
But where could she finds any water, or sunlight
On this dry, rocky, and weary land
Where the sun rise, but doesn’t give any light.
Where the sky is always cloudy, but never rains.
What is the point of having a plant
In a place where there’s no season?
It hurt really bad seeing her like that.
I tried to pull her out of the ground,
But I couldn’t even budge her.
her roots grew big and deep into the ground.
I thought the lack of water and sunlight would've killed her,
But then I realized that I was totally wrong.
Her leaves and her flowers are wilted,
But she has not weakened a bit.
Instead, it just grew bigger and bigger
And leaves me here with these sad feelings.
