The Building Structure
The Building Structure
I’ve turned out to be a structure engineer.
I designed a building’s structure
And I had it built all by myself.
The structure was not efficient.
It could not withstand the building.
The building did not hold up.
I knew it wasn’t efficient,
But I had it built anyway.
It always had the tendency to collapse.
I know where the problem is.
I’ve tried to fix it so many times,
But I did nothing but add weight to it.
I got a little tired of it,
So I got myself a bulldozer
And I tear it down flat to the ground.
I don’t have any regrets
For tearing it down because
It could have collapse on me anytime.
I can be another fool
For letting it stood for so long.
I was just too blind to see that.
I tear the building down,
But the design was still around
The morning after.
At first, I felt like crap.
I kept thinking about how
I was going to deal with the debris.
Despite of all of this,
Everything was alright
The morning after.
