I’LL KEEP SAYING IT ANYWAY
I’LL KEEP SAYING IT ANYWAY
I’m far to shy to tell you
About my love for you.
It seems like I don’t even have a say,
But I will tell you anyway.
Feelings, they come and go.
Sad, and happy moments also.
But one thing will always remain true,
Which is my love for you.
I know this kind of talk
Makes you speechless.
At least that’s what you told me,
But I’ll keep saying it anyway.
I keep saying things through my poems.
My words are like summer rains
That beat on roofs, and then fade away,
But I’ll keep saying it anyway.
I’m not Shakespeare. I’m just me.
For my words are kind of seem derisory
In my mind, the way they appear,
But I’ll keep saying it anyway.
I’ll keep saying it anyway.
Sometimes, my thoughts betray
By telling me to put my feelings away,
But strong, my heart will always stay.
I’ll keep saying it anyway.
Maybe I’ve said too much,
But there are so many things
That are still left unsaid.
When I told you that I love you,
You said that it bothers you.
At least that’s what you told me on a Sunday.
Well, I’ll keep saying it anyway.
I’ll keep saying it to you anyway.
For in my heart, it is what is true.
The chorus of the song of my heart,
Which will always remain, “I LOVE YOU.”
