CHASING THE WIND
CHASING THE WIND
I turned out to be an electrician
And wind power is my passion.
I've been working on it for awhile,
But everything stays immobile.
I’ve been trying to have wind power,
But things always keep on getting sour.
Some how, I don’t know what I’m doing,
But still, I just keep on trying.
People think my ladder is not well-set.
Saying that I might fall off the ladder
And never see the sun rise, or even set.
Well, I’m not worried about the day after.
I’m walking on a high way full of cars,
And I don’t even care of getting run over.
I’m not even scared that I might never
Have the chance to get put back together.
People think I’m smart for what I did,
But why do I feel like I’m an idiot kid?
I always thought I knew everything,
When I really didn’t know anything.
This whole thing is like one big mystery.
I have a long scary road ahead of me,
And I don’t even know where to begin,
But there’s no way I’m going to give in.
Now I’m starting to learn things,
I’m starting to understand things,
I’m starting to see things as they are.
Everything’s popping up on the radar.
It seems like I’ve been blind all along.
I’ve been chasing the wind for so long.
It’s the only source of energy I rely on.
But now it seems like everything is gone.
Now that I am aware of everything,
If you ask me about what I’m doing,
I’ll give you an answer just by saying,
“Chasing the wind is what I’m doing.”
