Too Late

Too Late

You tell me things I want to hear

But how do I know if you're sincere

All this crap is so confusing

For all I know you find it amusing

Playing with my emotions

Toying with my devotion

Why didn't you ever take a chance

Instead of waiting for so much time to pass

Now it seems to be too late

And for you I cannot wait

We must say good-bye again it seems

Destined to meet only in our dreams

EVERY POEM HAS BEEN ABOUT DOUBT...APPARENTLY YOU ARE QUICK TO TAKE THOSE IMPORTANT CHOICES..LOVE IS SPONTANEOUS DEEP WITHIN THE EYES IS WHERE YOU READ THE HEART AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU KNOW!!!!!! QUALIN

its sad but sometimes you must cut your losses and move on - good luck

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
