Think of Me

Think of Me

When you see three red cardinals
Think of me- Think of me
If an elk walks by you
Think of me-Think of me

For I am all earth's creatures and the star's above
The wave's upon the ocean
pouring power's of love

And I see all that you do
And I hear all your prayer's
I've lived for all eternity
Continuous thruout the years

So when you watch the sun setting
And the moon rising above
When you feel you'll never get, quite enough of love
Think of me- Think of me

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
