The Shining

The sun has been shining for a long time now, and all the trees are free. My lady is over on the

other side of the mountain waiting for me, her love is so peaceful something no Gods could

bring. Her hair is golden and her skin is too, her loving is always enough. Something that can

suffice, the needs I have and the dreams I want. I don't know where she came from nor do I

care, for she lays in our bed every night sharing love and true care. I felt the winters cold and

she brought me warmth, something not a thousands blankets could even do. I toast to her and

she returns the favor, the taste of her skin is such a magnificent flavor. If I lost her, then who

could I write to? My songs of love would go unanswered. I know she will never leave for her

wings where clipped. Not by her master but by her own will. She has found a love so soothing,

that not even the shining grace of her lord and master could draw her away from me. Everlasting

love and peace we have found. The rain has come now we shall retreat, into our everlasting love

oh it is so sweet.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
