The Levee Broke
I took my son to the river to play, it seemed to be a sunshine filled innocent day. But then the
storm clouds came and it began to rain. No fears I said child we will go inside to play but the
rains had a different plan for us today. The rains hammered on throughout the whole day. My
lady was weeping and moaning, praying for an end of rain for we live at the end of the street
where no escape from a flood could be seen. So that day passed and we awoke to be
surrounded by an ocean full of cars and carcasses. When i saw these images my eyes turned red
with the blood of many on my mind. The angels sat on the levee all day and wept to me of how
they could not hold the levee if it continued to rain. I looked at them and said "You are the
angels protectors of the realms, there is nothing i can do that u cant." So for the sake of my
child's play I took him to the park by the levee that day. If I would have known the carnage that
was coming into me that day I would have stayed in the house never to play. But mortal being I
am, I chose to satisfy my own ideas and spit on the parchments of natural law which the angels
practice. So that day came and the levee broke and swept away my baby mamma and my son.
My rage made me so thirsty and dry that all this water around could not supply the calm that I
needed to get me through this world and succeed it. Now I'm laying on top of a roof cloths
battered, body bruised. Because I ignored the angels truth instead of taking their word, the
word which would have saved my sanity. Oh woe to me! The waters if kept unscathed can take
away so many things with such haste.
