Lighthouse, The
Sanctuary in sightJust off the port bow
Rocky waters ahead
If we stay the course
Great trouble in store
If we don't steer
Towards the flashing light
Just over there off shore
We will be saved
If we head towards the light
But if we keep going
In the rain or fog or snow
Danger will reap its reward
With welcome mat in tow
The lighthouse is nearby
To share its safe haven
With anyone who enters
The doors of its sanctuary
Invitingly calm and
Full of peace and hope
For those of us lost
