Rhubarb in The Backyard
Growing up in New YorkWe used to visit Grandma
Who lived across the bridge
On the east side of town
One thing she let us do
Was go in her backyard
And pick all the rhubarb
I even tried it raw once
Boy was I unhappily surprised
By the bitter taste it left
I really don't get all the hoopla
It gets when one mentions rhubarb pie
