At Sunset
Orange, red, pink or purple skiesMoon in the lower corner
Sun below on the horizon
Stars popping in, letting us know
They're out to sparkle
Clouds waving hello
As they stroll on by
Folks out to walk
In the cool of the evening
At Sunset
Orange, red, pink or purple skiesWhen power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
