Aphrodite
I don’t believe in Aphrodite
In a sense that she’s a single living entity
But I do know that she’s a spirit of beauty
Who lives and leave a body
and now, she dwells upon you lady,
As her perfect chosen sanctuary
Hail to you fair lady!
For you are standing on the pedestal
Where man like me praise you
With bended knee for your glory
And the spirit of power and wisdom
Envy your strong gravity
Your body is a shaft
And your head its crown jewel
Over all you're a sceptre
Who wield a great power
There' no use of a spell or voodoo
To compel us to you
Ages come and pass
And I prove your grace don't last
It's a gloom to witness
The fall of a diminishing Goddess
The vibrant temple of the past
Now ruined and collapsed!
