Sea of Love
Love is lost on my lips,Taken from me like a fist.
I give up parts to be crushed,
layed open and bare, blood comes with a rush.
I trusted you with my darkest dreams,
gave you a key to my heart it seems.
You opened the door of my heart,
Took all you wanted just to depart.
Waves of love washed over me,
like a ship in a storm, tossed on the sea.
Your love was like wind in my sails,
you controlled my ship, your hands never failed.
Then one day another caught your eye,
You riped my heart out without a why.
My ship sank to the depths of the sea.
The whole time you were smiling at me.
All that was left was an empty ship.
No one to care or give a lift.
To pull me out of these drowning waves,
battered and beaten, no brighter days.
Then i heard a gentle voice.
Take my hand, I'll give you a hoist.
She took my hand with a smile.
Gave me a dream worth living a while.
Now she takes and holds my hand.
Not in front or back, but beside me she stands.
We face the sun her hand in mine,
taking on life our hearts entwined.
The wind is strong in our sails.
My hands tremble as I lift her veil.
Her eyes are bright like twinkling light,
sailing into the sunset and the dark of night.
We will be strong untill the end,
if sails are torn we will mend.
No matter how high the waves become,
forever and always we'll be one.
Our love is like a wind swept sea.
Waves of now and thens, and lots of maybe's.
We will always ride this sea above,
our sails full of wind, our hearts full of love.
