My Pastor
A thrill is in the air,Above the crowd you see him stare.
He looks at us with knowing eyes,
eyes of love, for this man is wise.
A hush falls upon the crowd,
As he opens the book, his words ring loud.
He teaches of salvation is Jesus name,
A fight for your soul is never a game.
He preaches with annointing from above,
He talks of Angels, and grace, and Gods love.
He takes you name to the throne,
He enters this room totally alone.
He must answer for your soul,
Putting you on the alter and lighting the coal.
He was sent for such a time and place,
Showing us how to receive Gods grace.
A man of God he must be,
To take on the fight for humanity.
A man truly hard to rattle,
Can ride anything with a saddle.
Probably his favorite tool,
a saddle on the back of a mule.
He laughs and loves with all his heart,
in each of us he's played a large part.
now this is coming to an end,
just wanna say happy birthday my pastor my friend.
