A TRUE GENTELMAN
Pain drips from her hurting soul, taking her dreams hurtling below.
She bends and breaks to the beat,
a slow rythem of painful defeat.
The claws of doubt rake her mind,
shrouding with darkness, all hope behind.
The pain of yesterday unable to mend,
stabbed in the back by the best of friends.
Her heart breaks, to millions of tiny shards,
No one to fix her soul of scars.
Her life is lost, ripped apart,
by the one who said he would never depart.
He left her, ripped, open and bruised,
layed by the wayside nasty and used.
He didn't care for the love she had shared,
Only for his lust, greed, and fare.
She lay there gasping, panting for air,
breathing his name on the crisp night air.
He loves me she says with shallow breath,
Must have been me to deserve such a death.
Wake up woman realize your price,
Your worth so much more, a human life.
Don't let this man take your pride,
Live your dreams, make up your mind.
Your beauty is beyond what the eyes see,
From heaven above you were made for me.
There are still true men who believe in true love,
A womans worth only measured in heaven above.
So pick up the pieces of your life,
Stand besided me, no more strife.
I'll love you with every single beat of my heart,
No more fears love, shattered, broken, bruised, i'll pick
up the pieces and from u i will never depart.
