Same old face but New Me
I am a new man who doesn't even think the same way.
So don't expect me to have changed over night ,i had to try every single day.
A blessing, I am, to this world God made.
I wanted 2 make all those who died proud of me, and even the slaves.
Like a ocean now i look and prepare for the big waves.
I realize that we are way more important then all this material.
Instead of being all picky ,just be glad you have a toy in the cereal.
We all have to mature and get old sometime.
I was blind ,but now I see,so I must shine.
As long as your still breathing you can still change.
I got to thinking that my sins wasn't worth the Son OF God's life in exchange.
There is no greater love.
I try my best now to silence my inner thug.
I don't fall for anything ,no longer am I weak.
I grew to be happy ,you can tell from the way I speak.
All is real in the feel.
Every night I give thanks for being able to eat a meal.
I respect people's property ,so I don't steal.
I'm not a wanna be .
I'm the person who is gonna be.
Standing Ovation, for the New Me
