    "GONNA PLAY,,,,GOTTA PAY!"

      WHEN HIS HEART GOES TO STRAY,
    HE'S OUT THERE TO PLAY.
    ONE WRONG NIGHT OF SIN,,,,,HE'S SWINGING AGAIN!
    FORGETTING THE WOMAN, THAT'S LOVING HIM MORE,
    TRADED FOR THRILLS OF A CHEAP, BOUGHT WHORE.
    TEMPTED BY OTHERS, HE THREW ME AWAY,
    HE WAS MISSING THE FUN........I WAS BLOCKING HIS WAY!

    STILL KNOWING I LOVE HIM,,,,,,MY HEART REMAINS TRUE,
    WHILE HE'S OUT CHARMING OTHERS,,,MY NIGHTS DRAG ON THROUGH.
    HE'LL REALIZE SOMEDAY, THROUGH HIS PASSIONS OF SIN,
    ALL THE HEARTACHE, AND SORROW, HE CHOSE ONCE AGAIN!

    AS SOON AS HE'S TIRED,HE'LL COME HOME TO ME,
    AS HE'S DONE MANY TIMES,,,,,,,,I JUST CAN'T SET HIM FREE!
    HE KNOWS THAT I LOVE HIM,,,,AND HE KNOWS HE'S DONE WRONG,
    IT'S SO HARD TO REJECT HIM,,,,,,,,WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER SO LONG!!!

    WHEN OUR EYES MEET EACH OTHERS,,,,THE TEARS START TO FLOW,,,
    HE SAYS THAT HE'S SORRY,,,,,,ALL I CAN SAY IS " I KNOW".
    WE LYE HERE TOGETHER, HE FALLS ASLEEP IN MY ARMS,
    FORGETTING THE WOMEN,HE'S SHARED ALL HIS CHARMS!

    HOW LONG CAN I DO THIS?! IT'S UNFAIR TO ME!
    HE TAKES ME FOR GRANTED,,,,HE'LL CONTINUE TO FLEE!
    I'LL AWAKE IN THE MORNING, AND AGAIN HE'LL BE GONE,
    HE SAYS HE IS WORKING,,,,,,,"SOMEONE" WHISPERED, "COME ON"!

    "LORD", GIVE ME THE COURAGE, TO JUST LET HIM GO!
    I GAVE UP MY LIFE!
    HE'S ALL THAT I KNOW!!!!!!
    I'M BEGINNING TO WONDER, IF THE LOVE STILL EXIST,
    HAS HE BECOME "MY ADDICTION"?,THAT I JUST CAN'T RESIST?!!

    I'M BLAMING MYSELF! BUT I KNOW IT'S NOT SO,
    I'VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING! TO CAUSE HIM TO GO.
    HE'LL NOT FIND ANOTHER,,,THAT'LL LOVE HIM THIS WAY!
    "THEY'RE" OUT THERE FOR "MONEY",,,,,,"THEY" JUST WANT TO "PLAY"!

    MY BODY'S GROWN TIRED,,TWISTED THOUGHTS IN MY HEAD,,,,,
    TO GROW OLD TOGETHER? I'D RATHER BE "DEAD"!

    I'LL CALL MY "ATTORNEY", HE'LL KNOW WHAT TO DO!
    HE COACHED ME,AND TOLD ME, THAT I "MATTERED" TOO!
     HE CONVINCED ME, AND TOLD ME ,THIS WAS MY "WHOLE NEW" START", 
    BUT TO TELL "HIM", IT'S "OVER",,,,,,,IT'LL TEAR OUT MY "HEART"!!

    i can understand how you feel, i have been there from both angles. some people are too hard to let go of, but it still kills you to keep trying. good work.

    I am right there with you on this one. Married to a truck driver, I never know. He's always on the go. I really love the "grow old together" line. We are not all perfect, we all have our faults, hs are his and mine are mine, we just dont go together right all the time. I hope you find devotion, loyalty, and intimacy so true. I hope you find trust, if you find someone new. It's hard, it does damage, some that can't be repaired. He forgets what he brings home sometimes shouldn't be shared. I wish you happiness, peace and prosperity. If you ever need a friend send a message to me. I am up late at night, an early most morns. I sleep little nowadays. I owe it to you your work has touched me so deep. Last night i didn't cry out in my sleep. Write on.....
