My Friends and Her

My friends are very dear to me
and very close to my heart
Each one has their own special way
of helping me prepare for my life ahead

One friend might still be here
one day then not the next
flighty with her friends and boys
but she shows me that
you have to put up with the thorns to get to the rose.

two of my friends are cool
theh has been there for me a couple times
but yet underneath that sweetness
is that sense of sour
but they show me that
Things aren't always what they seem.

I have 2 very close friends
who have always been there for me
and are very dear to my heart.
Even though I have ignored them
they still care.
I wish I had been better to them
but they show me that
No matter what you do, true friends are there for you through and through.

There are those people
that you thought were nice
but when they got the dirt on you that they needed
they show you that they didn't really care.
They pulled one over my head
but they show me that
People might seem as sweet as a lollipop, but you never know when you'll find the sour gum in the middle.

Everyone else is basically my aquantainces
I don't really talk
they don't really care.
We're not being mean
we just are off in our own worlds
sure we might talk every once in a while
but they show me that
you need to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Then there is one special girl
who has really touched my heart.
It was just in this past year
but I don't know what I would do without her.
She's sweet
kind
funny
random
Quirky
and anything else you can think of.
She has all of these people inside her
and without her
My life would nto be complete.
She shows me that
You have to learn to LOVE.
