    Moving on

How could I have been so dumb.
you've gone and made my heart feel numb.
I'm tired of playing your stupid little games,
truth be known, you put me to shame.
You made it out like it was all my fault,
now the facts are in and here's the results.
You were the one to turn away first,
leaving me feeling alone and hurt.
Not a day went by with out you making me cry.
I'd hide in my room and wonder why?
The words you spoke, were so full of hate,
never in my life have I felt such pain.
You took what you wanted and left me alone,
Your cold hearted ways, I've now been shown.
Yesterdays gone and its time for me to move on.
No more tears caused from pain, I've put you in my past
    and that's where you'll remain.

I love the ending...thats a strong finish. I like this....keep it up sweetie ......much love... -Lady P.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
