long and short

there is a time when someone needs a friend to talk to for hours on end.

there are times when someone needs a shoulder to cry on

there are times when someone needs a helping hand to share the work load.

there are times when kids need a father
there are times when kids need a friend

there are times when a wife needs a husband
there are times when a wife needs a lover

why cant this all be from the same person they fell in love with so long ago?

sometimes we see these qualities all together, but in many different people.

sometimes certain people have most of these qualities but not all of them. 

sometimes its hard to know which quality is important at the time it is needed, but not all of these qualities may be from the same person.
