    closing my eyes 7-2-15

     You have truly shown me what no one else could see,
    When i was blinded you walked up and slapped me.

    You told me once a blind man sees more, yet
    You laughed when i walked face first into a wooden door.

    you were right because i was an idiot,
    i closed my eyes on purpose so i couldn't see it.

    many things i closed my eyes to,
    but the one thing i truly saw was you.
