It's No Longer A Dream
As his face uncovers mine,
my mind goes blank,
as if he is trying to read my thoughts.
He smiles,
as if he heard what i was just thinking.
I thought he was beautiful,
he had such an angelic face,
with porcelain skin,
that shimmered under the fluroscent lighting.
I was amazed.
He stood smiling.
Even his smile made me smile.
I admired his stare.
I felt as if I were floating,
when I stared into his eyes.
I saw more than just his face.
I saw a story that spoke so softly to me.
I didn't want to look away.
But his stare was so strong,
it made my heart pound,
and my stomach trickle.
As he spoke quietly to me,
all I seemed to hear was "I love you"
My face flipped as if pain ran through my chest.
He looked confused.
But I knew I loved him too.
So I made sure he knew.
And as he smiled that crooked smile that I loved,
I leaned in and he kissed me.
I felt him laugh through his throat,
while his lips still touched mine.
And as I pulled away and laughed too,
he held my hand tightly.
In a way I felt as if he was trying to tell me,
he was afraid to lose me.
So I promised I would stay forever.
my mind goes blank,
as if he is trying to read my thoughts.
He smiles,
as if he heard what i was just thinking.
I thought he was beautiful,
