In Real Life
In real life when your daddy is killed by the bad guys you don't get to put on secret agent wear and get your revenge. There's no top secret agencies enlisting you to fight a war that no one sees. There's only heartache and longing. Although it seems heroic that you're surviving alone and that should be enough for you . Just to keep breathing keep living. It's not there are no answers no one to tell you that your nightmares will stop. All you have is hope for the future. That no one else will lose a parent to a war being fought in a land that seems so far away and in every sense of the word foreign. Hope that your daddy didn't die in vein . To educate yourself so no one will ever say that the youth was lost in their parent's war. These are the things you hold on to when you can't hold on to anything else....
