A Series of Shorts to a Friend

    Learning to breath your air
    And trust you're there.
    Know the breeze
Will carry me and this pain.
To you to heal this again
    Because you know me
You love me past it all.

    Trusting a love long
    In coming, but fated
    For our coming.
    Finding the change to permanence
    Refreshing, exhilarating.
This new freedom in giving truth away.

    Spark in your eyes.
    Light of your life.
Heard in ivory tones that travel
    Across my senses like silk
With truer emotion and flash fire.

    When sunset fades
And your world is foreign gray,
There is rebirth, a new you.
    The mistakes forgotten and forgiven.
A brighter butterfly in the face of a new day.

    You should love like
    There are no consequences.
    You should live like
    You can't die.
    And be, simply be,
    As you'll never be again.

    Dedicated To My Bekah
