    • YEAH! Just found out I'm going to have a baby! Well, technically my wife will, but I'll be there to make inappropriate jokes!

    A Lover's Suicide

    I brought you flowers today....
yet you didn't even acknowledge I was there
    No hug, no kiss
no fingers running through my hair
"These flowers are for you" I said....
yet silence was all there was to be heard
Was this your plan my love?
to make me empty, to hurt?
I cuddled up next to you...
    yet you denied my plea
There was no touch, no smile
you had no warmth left for me
I poured my heart out to you...
yet it didn't phase you a bit
I saw no reaction, felt no response
I guess you got sick of my shit
I'm trying to make it up to you....
all the sadness and the strife
I'm the cause, yes I know
the one that took away your life
    I brought you flowers today....
and I left them on your grave

whats done is done, the best things in life are left unsaid, everything happens for a reason alive or dead. dont dwell on your past, leave it behind. dont try to change it you'll loose your fucking mind. i wish you nothing but the best sweet heart, take time for yourself your more than worth it and not to mention, you deserve it.

I liked this poem and how the last line threw me. Thanks for sharing

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
