Words That Roll Off Their Lips

Words That Roll Off Their Lips

It only comes naturally
That none of them will let us be
I am so sorry for the pain we feel
But this love is what we cannot conceal.

I will not forget
The words of doubt and regret
As we sit back and watch them drip
Right off of their lips.

There is not one doubt in my mind
That this is no waste of time
Find a peaceful moment to speak my name
With or without them, love remains the same.

I hate when they say "It is all wrong",
This is not the words for what we long.
Im so sorry we have been scorned
This love won't die and for it we won't be mourned.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
