The Youngest of All
The youngest of all,
You look at me disgusted.
I often think you want me to fall,
Or maybe you just expect me to.
Because of my age, I'm never the one you call,
And you've always underestimated.
The youngest of all,
But I'm already ahead of the game.
If I come to a fork in the road and go the wrong path,
I am thee only one to blame!
But if you knew me you would know I'm different, quite a catch!
The youngest of all,
You don't want me to go the way of the rest.
I promise you I won't.
I swear I'll work hard on each and every test,
I'll show you what I'm worth, show you I'm the best.
The sanest of all,
don't you agree?!?
When I'm the 'voice of reason'
I want you to be proud of me.
I may be young, but because of you I know right from wrong.
