    Where She Stops, Nobody Knows

Up and down, spinning out of control
    Where she stops, nobody knows.
She was pushed on the ride, guess what she learned?
You can’t ask to stop, or even demand.
Believe me, the operator won’t understand.
Once she checks in, the instructions are clear:
“It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to be here”
She was pushed on the ride, guess what she learned?
Looks before she leaps, always checks her facts,
No matter who she trusts they stab her in the back,
Dips her toe in the water, it’s soon that she’ll sink
No matter what they tell her they won’t know what to think.
She was pushed on the ride, guess what she learned?
If she has to swallow, she’ll swallow her pride,
Her smile won’t match the dead feeling inside.
She’s learned for a while, its removed all doubt
To get off the ride, I’d have to check out.
