Treasure Map
I'm sure you shake your pretty, little head at meAnd in your captivating mind jest:
"Oh there she goes again..."
I know it's weird but I find so much beauty in logic & reason.
Everything turns out just the way it should.
There is a set end (and beginning).
And if you follow the right steps
And remember the rules you'll get
The perfect Answer.
Though,
I now have come to see beauty (far surpassing numbers).
Beauty in the experimental.
Beauty in the irrational.
The things where you just feel and don't think
(Or worry) about anything at all.
Beauty in people, good company.
Beauty in kisses and handholding.
Beauty in expression and art.
The unplanned, spontaneous.
Things that have no rhyme (though it's beautiful when they do)
Or reason,
But change everything.
I like to plan, to follow (a formula), to know exactly
What I'm signed up for.
But you this is different and
I honestly don't mind.
I think I was lacking adventure.
You've just handed me a treasure map.
