Falling Short
There's nothing I could say
That would change you(r mind),
Is there?
I couldn't persuade you,
Was I not charming enough
To tempt you (even a little)?
Don't think I need you(r approval),
I can survive (contently) without...
But is life simply about surving?
I would rather it was about living(/loving).
I guess not along side you...
(Seems like you wouldn't want to...?)
