Today there is a regret.

Today there is a regret.

Sorry I can't see you
      I'm blinded by my selfishness
In this world i call my own
      It comes crashing down
The way those waves are waving at me
      I can't breath
The happenings of impossibilities

Your works like neon
Shine so bright, so easy to see
Yet i still have to try to
Try to believe

Make me a canyon
      So faith will be needed
Make me a Chamber
Filled with things that aren't you
I want to run and get away
       Stay away, Start over again
Pave a new way

Your works like neon
Shine so bright, so easy to see
Yet i still have to try to
Try to Believe.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
