The Polar Bear Game
The ice far up North is getting thinner,
The Polar bears are looking for dinner.
But Seals are hiding in bad conditions,
And no one is shouting out petitions.
The world is getting hotter and hotter,
The Polar bears fraught with rising water,
But people just look to their own ends,
When Animals in the world are losing friends.
The ice is melting it’s so clear to see,
The polar bears stuck with nowhere to flee,
Charities are boldly taking action,
Handing out flyers for a reaction.
It’s not just the bears, oil is going too,
Resulting in wars that we can’t see through,
This all in the name of goodness and peace,
But war adds to global warming’s increase.
Any good solutions are simple at best,
The polar bears don’t seem very impressed.
The ice is still thin, and the air too warm
Hope seems futile to this treasured life form.
