THE MARK
I awake from a sound sleep
The pain in my arm sharp and insistent
The scar on my arm red and angry
Soon the pain will fade
I only have to concentrate
Te Mark is meant to keep me tied to him
But your eyes bind me to you
The pain is receding now
the memory of that night fades with the pain
Soon only thoughts of you remain
the thoughts and memories of you
Keep me strong
As I lay down to sleep
Thoughts of you keep me warm
The Mark on my soul
Left there by your first kiss
Is more powerful by far
Than the marks he left on my body
In an attempt to bind me
forever marked
Forever Free
