The Ferryman's Toll
My soul is an effigy,
toll for the ferryman
in a trilogy
as I cross River Styx.
Gloom of melonchaly
has rested from me
jubilee and a jolly
that smiles, its soul,
in words but folly.
Decree your jubilee
elsewhere, morbidly
life's a story,
so dream, dream, death
meet you and steal your
breath as brother sleep,
will slowly creep
to claim it's glory.
My soul is an effigy
in a trilogy across River Styx.
toll for the ferryman
in a trilogy
as I cross River Styx.
Gloom of melonchaly
has rested from me
jubilee and a jolly
that smiles, its soul,
in words but folly.
Decree your jubilee
elsewhere, morbidly
life's a story,
so dream, dream, death
meet you and steal your
breath as brother sleep,
will slowly creep
to claim it's glory.
My soul is an effigy
in a trilogy across River Styx.
