A Squirrel's Dream
The evening shades and the indigobegs, the celestial fades in
eternity's grave,
I am captive of her eyes,
in that moment all time dies,
orbital Heavens cry
in that mix of earth and sky
wherein does the soul lie.
My fantasy find me the darkest hour
as the sun rise on the mer
and within my arms, her,
my Celestial Epiphany,
love's for for thee and
a dream from me
and a soul of my soul
may the Angels know
the beating of my heart goes
to where love knows
and wit of dementia laughs the day
and her altar, I have prayed,
the eternal moment our eyes hold
would stay.
