On a Journey
On a Journey
Don’t know
where to go
so I stay
upon this crooked road
waiting
for the answer
I desperately need
just walking down
this same crooked road
fall scarp my knee
for this road
has become bumpy
cannot hide
this road I’m on will subside
I will stay the course
waiting for my lord
to take me
from where I found myself
as tears are streaming down my face
as I pray to the lord to give me grace
as I walk an unfamiliar road
he holds my hand
and wipes my tears
gives me a hug
and says
I’m right here.
