No Family of My Own
If I'd had a familyI'd love life every day
I'd take my children to the park
And watch them as they play
I'd push them on the swingset
And watch them on the slide
Then we'de play some hide and seek
And I would run and hide
But I don't have a family
I'm such a lonely man
Living my life day to day
Doing anything I can?
I have made some big mistakes
But the biggest of them all
Was any of my early love
I didn't walk down the wedding hall
I could have had a loving wife
To pamper all the time
With two or three little children
I'd be proud to say their mine
I would thank my loving wife
Treat her special every day
And when I'd hold her every night
I would thank God as I pray
