Mirror Mirror
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is that stranger that I saw???
In that reflection from once you gave,
Why is it you don't behave???
Please show me the image of my true self,
And not tease me with this illusion of lies,
Who is this person who hides in disguise?
This stranger who resides in the shadows of my form,
My inner mind and outward body to transform,
Into the darkness of the beast,
The light of my inner soul has become his feast.
Why is it that I can no longer see my reflection,
All I can see is the mirage of my imperfection,
The evil of sins and the blood lust of sorrow,
The dark incarnation of the devil's marrow.
My inner mind his playground for fun,
Is it possible for the evil to be undone,
For salvation of my mortal sins,
The purity of the inner light that always wins.
As I gaze into his eyes so cold,
The darkness of the eternal night I shall behold,
Once a shadow now stands a man,
The damnation of my soul his only plan.
Mirror mirror on the wall,
Why is it I can not recall,
The image of purity and innocence lost,
My immortal soul that paid the cost.
When did the stranger that I see,
Become me???
