Mask
To pretend to be happy,
Pretend to be mad.
To put on that face,
Of happy and glad.
Just hide your feelings,
And no one till know.
About how your heart,
Will never grow.
They see the face,
That you put on.
But nothing more,
For it is gone.
To hide the face,
And pain inside.
They think they know,
It won't subside.
Happy people,
Are the worst.
But you know,
They had pain first.
But if you look,
And you will see.
Behind this face,
Is misery.
Pretend to be mad.
To put on that face,
Of happy and glad.
Just hide your feelings,
And no one till know.
About how your heart,
Will never grow.
They see the face,
That you put on.
But nothing more,
For it is gone.
To hide the face,
And pain inside.
They think they know,
It won't subside.
Happy people,
Are the worst.
But you know,
They had pain first.
But if you look,
And you will see.
Behind this face,
Is misery.
