God's Tears?
Sit on the road,
the middle of spring.
Pains of tomorrow
and it's sting.
Thinking of love,
and all that you've lost.
Of all your deeds,
and what they cost.
Encircle your palms,
encircle your wrists.
The scars of yesterday,
you cannot miss.
The raindrops slide,
down your face.
You long to feel,
God's warm embrace.
Has he left you
all alone?
Has your heart,
turned to stone?
Your soul is black,
like the night.
When once it shined,
ever so bright.
What happened then,
to make you this way.
Where does your mind go,
when it becomes day?
Snap out of this madness,
come out of this trance.
Please come with me,
It's your last chance.
The darkness is coming,
it soon will be here.
But all you see,
is God's lonely tear.
The tears of God,
splash on your skin.
This lonely fight,
you will not win.
Give it up,
come back to me.
God gave you to me,
So now you are free.
the middle of spring.
Pains of tomorrow
and it's sting.
Thinking of love,
and all that you've lost.
Of all your deeds,
and what they cost.
Encircle your palms,
encircle your wrists.
The scars of yesterday,
you cannot miss.
The raindrops slide,
down your face.
You long to feel,
God's warm embrace.
Has he left you
all alone?
Has your heart,
turned to stone?
Your soul is black,
like the night.
When once it shined,
ever so bright.
What happened then,
to make you this way.
Where does your mind go,
when it becomes day?
Snap out of this madness,
come out of this trance.
Please come with me,
It's your last chance.
The darkness is coming,
it soon will be here.
But all you see,
is God's lonely tear.
The tears of God,

This lonely fight,

Give it up,
come back to me.
God gave you to me,
So now you are free.
