Jail
JailGRAY AND WHITE, GLASS AND STEEL.
DOORS THAT SLAM, NIGHTMARES ARE REAL.
LIFE IT SITS AND WAITS FOR TIME.
THOUGHTS STAND STILL, THE WALLS TO CLIMB.
LIFE IS LOST, ENVELOPED IN PAIN.
LIMBS ARE PARALYZED IN STEEL AND CHAIN.
MEN SIT HIGH AND JUDGE MY PEERS,
SLEEP COMES QUICK TO CALM ONES FEARS.
DAYS MARCH BY WITHOUT A GRASP.
HOPE IS FOCUSED UPON THE PAST.
LIFES ARE BALANCED IN OTHERS HANDS.
NO ONE CAN KNOW OR MAKE THEIR PLANS.
BRICKS AND MORTAR KEEP MEN INSIDE
GUILT OR NOT IS THEIRS TO DECIDE.
WOMEN AND KIDS ACCEPT THE PAIN.
HOPING THEIR MEN WONT END INSANE.
LAWYERS AND JUDGES, THE GUARDS AND BARS.
LOCKED INSIDE, NO VIEW OF THE STARS.
RICH FOLK WALK, THE POOR SIT STILL
MONEY IS KING, POVERTY IS REAL.
THE WORLD MOVES ON WITHOUT THIS SCENE.
INSIDE THEY'RE TREATED BELOW HUMAN BEINGS.
INNOCENT TILL GUILTY IS WHAT THEY SAY,
LOCKED IN A DUNGEON FOREVER TO STAY.
GRAY AND WHITE, GLASS AND STEEL.
DOORS THAT SLAM, NIGHTMARES ARE REAL.
GUILTY TILL INNOCENT WHEN YOUR LOCKED INSIDE.
FREEDOM OR NOT, ITS THEIRS TO DECIDE.
