No way to pay or count the cost

Of lost days gone, of minutes past

Unable to repair or find at last

The plot is drawn and actors cast

But hope is strong, its always here

Wreckage, loss of time and thought

Within the elements I am caught

My addiction trouble I have bought

Friendships deep anchored in rock

Not smashed by sin or by a clock
