jack rabbits in the sand
Twas all but ten when they stole me awaySilently screaming into the night
With tears never shared
Passing headlights that lit a long black trail
That faded into nothingness
Two red eyes laughing at the sorrow
And a home never more
Having traversed thru times long sithened
Amidst tales of woe, and of war
Amidst tales of love, and glory's long faded
Amidst tales of brief and shimmering moments
Amidst tales of uncounted horror's
Thank you but I shall pass
You can find me should you chose
Betwixt a synapse or two
Where I'm still riding horses
Amidst the high deserts
In the Land Of Enchantment
Darting to and fro
And chasing jack rabbits in the sand
